Job summary

Scarcroft Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our dedicated team on a permanent basis. The role offers 25 hours per week, 9:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time to support pupils with their learning and development.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to help children access the curriculum, monitor progress, and support emotional and social development.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
• Desirable Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Responsibilities

• Support children in accessing the curriculum and making progress.
• Work with the class teacher and SENCo to support learning and development.
• Supervise children during lunchtime.
