Overview

St Joseph’s Specialist Trust, Cranleigh, Surrey. Supported Living Worker (Night Waking Shifts). £26,951 - £27,976 per year & £650 night waking allowance. 25 days holiday plus public holidays. With an additional £1,000 Retention Bonus. Make a difference every night. The Lodge is a supported living house in Cranleigh, part of St Joseph’s Specialist Trust. Our tenants include adults with autistic spectrum disorders, learning difficulties and communication needs. We are looking for a caring, empathetic and resilient person to join our dedicated night team. No prior experience is necessary – you’ll receive excellent training, a full induction and ongoing mentoring to help you succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Working night waking shifts (37 hours per week, year-round) on a rota basis
  • Supporting tenants if they wake during the night, ensuring they feel safe and at home
  • Providing reassurance and guidance when tenants feel anxious or frustrated
  • Using positive behaviour support techniques (full training provided)
  • Building trusting relationships that help tenants live fulfilled and independent lives
