Job summary

Turning Point UK is seeking a Supported Living Manager for our Thanet, Kent services. You will oversee 4 adjacent blocks with 28 one‑bed flats, delivering high-quality care for adults with autism, learning disabilities and physical health needs.

A background in supported living and a full UK driving licence are preferred. You will manage the team, develop flexible support plans, and work with families and professionals to ensure person-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality supported living services across multiple properties.
  • Develop and maintain flexible, realistic support plans with stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational management and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and governance.
  • Lead staff teams, recruit, supervise, and manage performance.
  • Collaborate with commissioners, regulators, and professionals.

Job IntroductionSupported Living manager advert- Fixed term contractWe have an opportunity as a Supported Living Manager at our services in Thanet, Kent. The Supported Living Manager will be responsible for managing 4 adjacent apartment blocks consisting of 28 individual, one bed flats. We provide intensive support for adults who may a diagnosis of autism, learning disabilities or physical health needs.Everyone has their own unique reason for choosing Turning Point. You and your team will develop and maintain flexible and realistic support plans using our excellent digital care management system in collaboration with the people we support, family members and other professionals. You will be responsible for everyday operational management.Having a background in a supporting living setting will be an advantage. Flexibility is essential and you should also have a full UK driving licence and access to a car.The Ideal CandidatePrevious Management experience within the Learning Disability sector, preferably supported living.Knowledge of CQC and experience of managing services which are governed by these regulationsManagement experience of multiple propertiesSound understanding of supported living servicesExperience of being accountable for budgets and how to ensure they remain within required parametersKnowledge and experience of managing staff teams, developing talent and managing performance issuesPersonal qualities to be able to motivate staff members, develop leadership and delegate skillsPositive communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility and experience of working alongside Commissioners, Stakeholders, Regulators and other parties who are involved with a serviceAbout usAs a leading health and social care provider with more than 300 locations across England, we take real pride in the services we offer.We run all of our services on a not-for-profit basis; instead, we invest every penny back into our services and people.
