Job summary

Autism Initiatives is seeking Full-Time Support Workers to join our team in Northern Ireland. You will work alongside autistic individuals, supporting independence in daily living, accessing work and education, and enjoying a range of leisure activities.

We provide comprehensive induction training and an extensive benefits package, including pension, enhanced leave, health schemes, and ongoing professional development. Interviews are conducted in person at the head office in Belfast.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering care and support in care settings.
• Flexibility to work on a rota including unsocial hours and weekends.
• NISCC registered or eligible to register on appointment.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in daily living activities to develop independence.
• Assist with accessing work, education and leisure activities.
• Provide care and support across services as needed.

Essential Criteria

• Working, voluntary or personal knowledge of providing care and/or support.
• Be flexible to work on a rota basis that includes job rotation in various services, unsocial hours and weekends.
• NISCC registered or apply to register on appointment.
• Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle held for at least one year.
