Overview

Youth Support Worker – Yeovil (Lufton) | £15 per hour | Full-Time | Day Shifts | Immediate Start

We are looking for 4 compassionate and enthusiastic Youth Support Workers to join a specialist residential college in Yeovil. You’ll be supporting young people aged 16–25 with Autism, learning disabilities, and complex emotional or behavioural needs, helping them to thrive in both education and everyday life.

Responsibilities
  • Support students in education, therapy, and leisure activities
  • Assist with personal care and day-to-day living
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive residential environment and keep accurate records and reports to ensure the best outcomes for students
What You’ll Do

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience supporting young people or adults with additional needs (e.g. SEN, care, supported living, youth work)
  • A calm, caring, and consistent approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Weekly availability to provide stability and continuity for students
Benefits
  • £15 per hour (inc. holiday pay)
  • Full-time hours on a set rota (includes weekends & Bank Holidays)
  • Day shifts available: 08:30–15:00 or 14:30–22:00
