A local government organization in Wakefield is seeking a Support Worker to provide care in the Supported Living Service. The role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities, enabling independence, and providing emotional and practical support. Candidates should be adaptable and willing to achieve NVQ qualifications. This position offers flexible shifts and benefits such as access to training programs and wellbeing coaching.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to join our team at the Supported Living service we have a variation of contracted posts within Wakefield and the surrounding areas.
As a Support Worker in the Supported Living Service you will be caring, adaptable and committed to making a positive difference to people's lives. We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and able to work as part of a team, you will be joining a supportive team and training will be provided.
Due to the nature of the role, support workers are required to have a flexible approach to cover duty rota as necessary; a typical rota includes early shifts/late shifts and you must be willing to work evenings, weekends, Bank Holidays and sleep‑in duties. Enhancements are paid on top of the basic salary; additional hours/overtime may also be available on top of the contracted hours.
