A community support organization in Lincolnshire is looking to hire a Waking Nights Support Worker. This role involves providing compassionate care for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs during nighttime shifts. We have an opportunity available for a Waking Nights Support Worker to join the team at Cedar House based in Lincolnshire, PE11 1QF.
Salary: £12.60 per hour | Hours: 30 hours weekly

As a Support Worker for the Waking Nights Respite Service, you will have the incredible opportunity to embody our core values of kind hearts, tailor‑making, dreaming big, having courage, and being ready. Your role will involve providing exceptional care and unwavering support to service users, particularly those with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviour that challenges.
Your evenings and nights will be filled with meaningful support that truly makes a difference in the lives of those you serve. You will provide personal care, administer medication, conduct security checks, and assist with domestic tasks. With your kind and compassionate heart, you will create an environment of warmth and care that will make service users feel seen and valued.
As a tailor‑made supporter, you will have the opportunity to adjust your approach to each individual's unique needs, ensuring they receive the highest level of care possible. With courage in your heart, you will tackle any challenges that may arise with unwavering determination, knowing that your presence alone brings comfort to those who need it most.
It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on‑the‑job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
