Job summary

United Response in Bury is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to cover waking nights. You will help people with daily living tasks in line with personal support plans, build relationships, and support activities in the community.

The role supports individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. DBS enhanced checks apply; visa sponsorship not available. The hourly rate is £13.46.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as dressing and personal care in line with personal support plans.
• Support with finances and medication management as part of daily routines.
• Attend appointments and assist with employment, volunteering, and hobbies.
• Build trusting relationships with the people you support and enable them to live independently.

This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS Check, the cost to be met by United Response.
