Working closely with those who require assistance, support workers offer personal care, company, errands, meal preparation, pharmaceutical assistance, and developmental support as required. This could take place in the community or at the client’s home. Travelling between clients is a part of the shift routine. You might be required to offer assistance at home for prolonged periods of time in live-in care situations.
