Active Care Group Swindon seeks a committed Residential Support Worker to join our team at Pear Tree House. The role supports children and young people with learning disabilities and possible complex needs, offering daily living assistance and participation in education and activities.

We provide probationary training, with opportunities to work towards Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Child Care. Role includes full-time and part-time shifts, with weekends on a rota basis, and a salary of

Competenze

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in Childcare required or willingness to work towards this qualification.
• Previous experience in a children's home or child care sector desirable.
• UK work eligibility (lived in the UK for 3+ years) and good communication at all levels.

We offer intensive levels of support and care to help the young people we care for develop social and life skills.We encourage our young people to attend school or college during their stay with us, wherever possible, and to join us on fun day trips out to theme parks, the seaside or wherever their interests lie!You will have an opportunity to learn whilst you work with Active Care Group. After probation, you will be working towards the **Level 3 or 4 Diploma** in Residential Child Care.**What you'll be working:*** Days* Full-time & part-time available* Every other weekend* Rota shifts* Working towards **Level 3 or 4 Diploma** in Residential Child Care* £27,766.15 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata)**What you'll be doing:**The post holder has a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times.
