Founded in 1795, Norwood is the oldest Jewish charity in the UK, and has been privileged to receive Royal Patronage since 1815. We support and empower neurodiverse children and their families and people with neurodevelopmental disabilities to live their best lives.
Norwood works with local authorities, to deliver wide-ranging services including residential and supported living accommodation and short-breaks facilities, as well as a range of support groups aimed at the whole family, not just the individual.
The property is a large, detached house. It is a two-storey property. Both floors have three bedrooms, a modern kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and comfortable lounge. There is a utility room and leafy garden. It has an office for staff administration and sleep in shifts.
The location is close to the town centre which has shops and local amenities with easy access to public transport. Parking is available on the driveway.
We support 3 women and 2 men who are in their 50s and 60s. They have moderate learning disabilities, autism, and health needs. They communicate verbally and with hand signs.
