A charity organization in Golders Green seeks a Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities. The role involves organizing activities, supporting personal care needs, and building community relationships. Applicants need a level 2 Health & Social Care qualification and a willingness to learn about Jewish culture. Full training will be provided. Salary: £12.39 p/h unqualified or £13.22 p/h qualified

As a Support Worker you will be required to work individually and as part of a team to support and enable people to live as independently as possible. You will also be responsible for working with our employment team to facilitate employment opportunities and assisting and supporting people to enjoy an active social life and Jewish observance. You will be required to work flexible hours which will involve working early and late shifts, including sleep‑ins, weekends and bank holidays in accordance with peoples' needs.
With NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care level 2, Care Certificate or equivalent experience, you must have a good standard of written English. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential as is holding a current full driving licence. Understanding / awareness of or willingness to learn about Jewish culture is essential. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
29 paid holiday days inclusive of bank and public holidays (pro‑rated for part‑time staff).
