Support Worker required to support a lady who has autism who lives in the Newton Aycliffe area

We are looking for someone to provide support with everyday activities for a lady who suffers from anxiety and would benefit from support and encouragement around everyday tasks and trips into the community.

Hours / Wage

6 hours per week, £13 per hour. Two days per week (3 hours per day). Not Thursdays. Flexibility about which days are worked. Hours can be morning or afternoon. Please indicate on your application any days/times you would not be available to work.

Duties
  • One day will be used to support and prompt to engage with personal care tasks, including help around the kitchen, organising medication, and assisting with paperwork.
  • One day is to support client to access the local community, for example with shopping, attending classes, and going to swimming.
Additional Requirements / Information
  • Experience in working with people with autism/mental health issues preferred.
  • Car owner with own vehicle required.
  • Enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
