A local support organization in Scotland is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a young man in East Kilbride. This permanent role requires a full driving license, and while experience is welcome, full training will be provided. The successful candidate will assist with personal care, engage in community activities, and ensure a positive environment for the client. The position offers 24 hours per week with a set shift from Friday 10am to Saturday 10am, at an hourly rate of £12.60.
Support Worker / Personal Assistant for Graham – East Kilbride. We’re looking for a caring, friendly and reliable person to join a small team supporting Graham, a young man living in the East Kilbride area. Graham is non-verbal and requires 1:1 support across a 24-hour shift pattern. Your role will include helping with personal care, day-to-day tasks, and supporting Graham to get out and about in his manual wheelchair—whether that’s attending social activities or enjoying a day trip. He loves being active and engaged in his community, so no two days are quite the same. We’re looking for someone who is sociable, easy-going, and ready to be a positive presence in Graham’s life.
If you’re someone who enjoys making a difference and wants to be part of a supportive and meaningful role, we’d love to hear from you.
