📍Location: Omagh
🕒Contract Types: We have the following contracts available: 1x Full-time Days with sleep in's in our Dergmoney Service
💷Sponsorship: Unfortunately, this role does not meet the salary threshold for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? Mencap is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our amazing team in Omagh, where your role will have a lasting impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities.

🌈 What You’ll Do:
  • Support people with learning disabilities in their daily lives and routines
  • Assist with personal care and medication, including showering/toileting and dressing
  • Help with finances and everyday tasks such as shopping and bill payments
  • Encourage independence and social inclusion by supporting community activities and groups
  • Use Positive Behaviour Support strategies to enhance quality of life
  • Build trusting, meaningful relationships based on empathy and respect
  • A genuine passion for supporting others
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnight
  • A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude
  • Willingness to register with NISCC and undergo an enhanced Access NI check
🔍 Qualifications & Conditions:
  • 1x Day post with sleep ins.
  • Day Shifts: 9:00am - 9.00pm, Sleep ins are 12pm - 11pm & 7am - 12.15pm (Sleeping from 11pm - 7am). Rota prepared 4+ weeks in advance to support work/life balance.
  • An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate.
