Job summary

Job description

Ideal position for Support Workers seekign additional part time hours with flexible availibility.

As a Support Worker you will be expected to ensure that each resident is met with the required level of care and support whilst aiding them with their nightly routine.

You will promote independence whilst prioritising their wellbeing.

Additional duties may include the following:
  • Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands‑on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
  • Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
  • Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
  • Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment.
  • Have a checkable work history.
  • Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee.
  • Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

Shifts will be from Monday to Friday with the times being from 22:00 to 07:00 the following day.

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55, with up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
