Location: Herefordshire

Shifts: 4 shifts per week + 1 sleep‑in shift

Amber Mace is working with a well‑established, family‑run mental health care home in Herefordshire. We are seeking caring and reliable Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting adults with mental health needs in a warm, homely environment.

Previous care experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided to candidates with the right attitude and values.

Shift Pattern
  • Morning Shift: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:30 pm – 9:30 pm
  • Sleep‑in Shift: 9:30 pm – 8:30 am (once per week)

  • A compassionate and professional approach to care
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to work as part of a supportive, close‑knit team
  • Confidence in assisting residents with daily living and emotional wellbeing
  • An understanding of mental health and recovery‑focused care (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans
  • Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential)
Training & Development

You’ll receive paid training and ongoing professional development, including support to complete the Skills for Care – Care Certificate.
