A leading adult care provider in the UK seeks a compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals with personal care and daily activities. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, resilient, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, you'll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.

It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However, whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people's lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential.

Mount View House is located in the village of Syke near Rochdale, in Greater Manchester. We are in a beautiful rural setting on the edge of Whitworth Moor in the South Pennines. Mount View offers residential support to eight autistic males and females. Although primarily for over 18s, we can support individuals who are 17 and moving from children's services.
Our goal is to support the people we are caring for to create and achieve goals to meet their own expectations to lead a fulfilled and enriched life. We recognise that autistic people have the same aspirations and expectations as everyone else and should be empowered to achieve these.
We can also support autistic individuals that also have a learning disability, or may present behaviours that challenge.
