We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join our team at Crantock Drive, Almondsbury, a residential service supporting eight ladies with a range of support needs. The people we support are all individuals with their own personalities, interests, and aspirations.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion. You will work closely with the ladies we support, enabling them to live fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.

You will help and encourage the people we support to:

  • Participate in meaningful activities and hobbies
  • Maintain contact with family and friends
  • Be active members of their local community
  • Develop independence and daily living skills
  • Enjoy social opportunities, outings, and day trips

We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, and able to anticipate the support needs of others. There is an expectation to engage individuals and support activities such as:

  • Walks in the local area
  • Shopping trips
  • Visits to local attractions and community groups
  • Drives and day trips
  • Leisure and recreational activities

The role will also include:

  • Supporting with medication
  • Planning menus and shopping
  • Assisting and encouraging meal preparation
  • Supporting health and wellbeing
  • Maintaining accurate records and communication

Working Hours

Flexibility is essential. Shift patterns include:

  • 07:00 to 14:30
  • 14:00 to 21:30
  • Sleep in shifts
  • Long days can be considered
