Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? Mencap is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our amazing team in Keady, where your role will have a lasting impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities.

🌈 What You’ll Do:

Support people with learning disabilities in their daily lives and routines

Assist with personal care and medication, including bathing and dressing

Help with finances and everyday tasks like shopping and bill payments

Encourage independence and social inclusion by supporting community activities and groups

Use Positive Behaviour Support strategies to enhance quality of life

Build trusting, meaningful relationships based on empathy and respect

A genuine passion for supporting others

Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnight

A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude

Willingness to register with NISCC and undergo an enhanced Access NI check

  • 2 x 37.5 full-time contract

Shifts:

  • Days: Between 07:00-22:00AND
  • Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00

There is also a sleep-in available where you willreceive an enhanced flat rate payment of£62.45.

📌 Note: While Mencap is a licensed sponsor, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role due to current Home Office salary thresholds for Skilled Worker visas.
