Job summary

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List required.
  • Previous experience in a social care setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks is an advantage.

Location

Horley, Surrey, RH6 9DH

Shifts

Full time 42 hours per week and Part time available (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay Rate

£12.50 - £12.76 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Full valid UK Driving Licence is required for this role.

About the service

You will be working within one of our spacious six-bedroom detached homes, some with annexes, are set in quiet areas of Horley, close to the town centre, local amenities and the railway station, with easy bus links to Gatwick, Crawley, and Redhill. The people we support follow personalised, structured timetables that suit their needs and interests, while a dedicated team provides 24-hour support every day.

Role Overview
  • You’ll support adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health
  • You’ll support them to flourish in a place they call home. You’ll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives
  • You’ll give high-quality support tailored to people’s needs
  • You’ll do activities like cooking, art or listening to music. And get out for movie nights and food outings
  • You’ll provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and documents; shopping. Help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene
  • You’ll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support
Key Skills and Experience
Essential
  • Good general education
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and of Ivolve
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable)
  • A commitment to undertake training and development
Desirable
  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care
  • Previous experience within social care setting
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities
  • Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks
  • Confident IT user
