Overview

Were privileged to work with some amazingpeople here at Hindson House.We provide arespite service for adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. As a Residential Services Support Officer youll provide personalisedsupport, so people can engage in a range of meaningful activities during theirstay with us.We want our short staybreaks to feel like a holiday, so we offer fulfilling activities both out inthe community and within our safe and comfortable environment.

Main duties of the job
  • Deliver Exceptional Care: Be at the heart of providing the best physical andemotional care, ensuring our Service Users feel safe, comfortable and valued.You'll proactively observe and assess their health and well-being, actingquickly to support their needs.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work with families, carers, colleagues and otherprofessionals to create and carry out personalised care plans. Your input willbe important in shaping the support we offer, ensuring it aligns with theindividual goals and wishes of each Service User.
  • Communicate and Document: As shift leader, youll keep the lines of communicationopen and maintain detailed records that reflect the progress and needs of ourService Users. Your reports and case records will be vital in deliveringconsistent, high-quality care and ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Working pattern

As this is a 24/7 service, you'll be requiredto work a shift pattern to respond to the demands of the service. Your workingpattern will include working every other weekend and a variety of shiftsincluding early, late, sleep-in shifts and bank holidays for which enhancementswill be paid in line with the HCC salary policy.
