Support Worker

Salary: £12.39 per hour (unqualified) or £13.22 per hour (qualified)

Location: Golders Green, Hendon, North West London

Contract type: Part-time, Full-time, and Bank Hours available

Kisharon Langdon UK have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join their growing team in Golders Green & Hendon, North West London.

Kisharon Langdon, a newly merged charity, offers a wide breadth of services of enhanced quality to support people with a learning disability and autistic people and their families, from nursery and school to further education, employment opportunities, and supported living. The Role

As a Support Worker you will work individually and as part of a team to support and enable people to live as independently as possible. You will also support the employment team to facilitate employment opportunities and help people enjoy an active social life and Jewish observance.

Flexible hours are required, including early and late shifts, sleep‑ins, weekends and bank holidays, in accordance with people's needs.

About you

Qualifications:

  • NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care Level 2, Care Certificate or equivalent experience
  • Good standard of written English
  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential
  • Current full driving licence (preferred)
  • Understanding/awareness of or willingness to learn about Jewish culture (essential)

Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
