Overview

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, motivated individuals ready to make a real difference to people with learning disabilities and autism in Ulverston. As part of our friendly team you’ll be at the heart of delivering person‑centred care, helping tenants engage in daily life and enjoy a wide array of activities.

Responsibilities
  • Personal care and domestic tasks.
  • Community activities such as walking, swimming and eating out.
  • Support in daily life with a person‑centred, creative approach.
  • Engage tenants in sports, outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music and cooking.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and engagement skills.
  • Unconditional positive regard for the young people you support.
  • Maturity, responsibility and confidence in a positive behaviour support framework.
  • Prior experience is beneficial but an engaging, creative, person‑centred approach is vital.
Training & Development

Full training is provided, including the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. We provide relevant training, including accredited health and social care diplomas through our training academy.
