Job summary

Secosupport is looking for Support Workers to assist Aaron, a vibrant individual living in central Hereford. As part of a dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in fostering Aaron's independence and providing a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate empathy, patience, and effective communication skills while being trustworthy and flexible. The role offers training, 28 days of annual leave, and a company pension.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence preferred for this role.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be provided.
  • Full referencing and enhanced DBS check will be required.

Aaron is a kind, active, and fun-loving young man who has his own home in central Hereford. He enjoys long walks, National Trust visits, gardening, mini golf, colouring by numbers, and time outdoors including a local farm. Aaron thrives with structure, routine, and calm, positive support from people who are patient, reliable, and emotionally aware. He communicates best with staff who use simple language, a gentle approach, and take the time to build trusting relationships. He is looking for a dedicated and energetic team who can support him to feel safe, enjoy the activities he loves, and continue developing his independence in a happy and supportive home environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

Full UK driving licence is preferred for this role. Experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be provided.

Full referencing and a full enhanced check of the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) will be required for this position.
