Mencap in Sudbury is recruiting Support Workers to assist people to live independently, with activities ranging from football to cinema. You will help with meals, cleaning, laundry, bills, and personal care, in a warm, safe environment where individuals thrive.

Shifts run from 7am to 10pm with sleep-in duties and weekend work; DBS checks and references are required. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or supportive roles preferred.
• Reliable, caring, and able to work flexibly.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Support people to live as independently as possible.
• Prepare meals and assist with cleaning and laundry.
• Sort post and go through bills; assist with personal care tasks as needed.
• Work flexible shifts including sleep-ins and weekends.
