Job summary

Codi is a not-for-profit housing, care and support provider in Wales. This 22-hour-per-week role supports three adults with learning disabilities in their home in Uplands, Swansea, applying a do-with, not do-for approach to promote independence and well-being.

The role includes sleep-in shifts, medication support, cooking and daily tasks, plus driving outings with a full UK manual licence. DBS and Social Care Wales registration are reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Experience with people with physical or mental health needs is desirable, with full training and support provided.
• Proven IT, numeracy and digital literacy skills.
• Experience working as part of a team and with people or customers.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and assist with personal care.
• Help with cooking, household tasks and budgeting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Support outings and community activities.
• Sleep-in shifts as scheduled.
• Drive clients on outings with a UK manual licence.
• Adapt work to meet individual needs and promote independence.
