Job summary

CareTech in Llandudno is recruiting compassionate Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will provide person-centred support, assist with daily living skills, promote independence and wellbeing.

No prior care experience is required – full training and a structured induction are provided. You will work a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, in a supportive team that values respect and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
