Job summary

Atlantic Way Care & Support in Tavistock is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with complex needs in a 24-hour supported living setting. The role focuses on building trust, planning goals, and helping with daily tasks and personal care, with care delivered in a person-centred way.

You will work within National Care Group's supportive team, receive paid training, and have opportunities to gain qualifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals with individuals.
• Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities such as cooking and cleaning.
• Support with personal care, including eating and medication administration.
• Plan and participate in days out and activities with individuals.
• Support individuals to become more independent where possible.
