Job summary

Arundel Care Services is expanding their supported living services in Brighton and recruiting for enthusiastic, caring Support Workers. Roles involve assisting adults with learning disabilities and autism, with duties spanning daily living, activities, personal care and documentation.

DBS checks are required and driving licence is preferable. Part-time and full-time contracts available to suit the needs of our two new services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Assist the people we support in all areas of their lives and help them achieve goals.
Participate in providing daily activities and social engagement.
Undertake domestic tasks such as shopping, cooking, laundry, and cleaning with individuals.
Develop professional relationships with relatives, external agencies and other professionals.
Support personal care when appropriate and respond to challenging behaviours.
Maintain accurate reports, support plans and daily recordings.
Act as keyworker for an assigned individual when required.
