Housing & Support Recruitment is recruiting permanent Support Workers in Nuneaton to empower adults with learning disabilities and autism to live active, independent lives. You will support daily living, accompany to activities and assist with personal care, while maintaining a safe and inclusive home environment.

The role offers guaranteed hours under a permanent contract, with mileage reimbursements and access to funded NVQ/Diplomas in Health & Social Care, plus structured shift rotas.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
• Experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant is preferred.
• Candidates should be patient, empathetic and committed to long-term person-centred care.
• An Enhanced DBS check (or DBS Update Service) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support service users with everyday living skills, meal preparation and budgeting.
• Drive individuals to community events, leisure activities and appointments.
• Assist with personal care and medication administration where required.
• Foster a safe, positive and inclusive living environment.
