We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Driver with a medical background to provide essential standby support for an individual in the Leeds area. This role is a unique opportunity to offer person-centred care and assistance, with a focus on empowering independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Providing standby support for an individual with complex health conditions, including Idiopathic Anaphylaxis, Fibromyalgia, and Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome.
• Being available to respond promptly and provide support as needed.
• Assisting with daily living tasks and appointments.
• Driving the client to various locations as required.
• Maintaining a respectful and dignified environment while supporting the client's independence.

We Offer

• Self-Employed (Not through an Umbrella Company): £17.50 per hour
• PAYE: £12.80 per hour
• Hours: Up to 35 hours per week on a variable basis.

Requirements

• Candidate with a UK Care or Medical background.
• A full, valid UK driving license.
• A compassionate, reliable, and proactive nature.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
• Confidence in responding to medical needs, especially in an emergency situation.
