A local government authority in the UK is seeking a temporary full-time worker to provide supervisory and support services in a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will possess 60 relevant credit points towards a social work degree and have experience working with the service user group. Strong communication and planning skills are essential. This position requires flexibility in working hours between 8am and 8pm.
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis for one year.

You will have 60 relevant credit points towards the first year of social work degree or equivalent (at SCQF level 7 or above, e.g. an HNC or SVQ Level 3 in a social care or social sciences field).
You will provide supervisory and support services and carry a caseload of appropriate cases. Work alongside and under the direction of a senior or professionally qualified worker to carry out specific tasks.
You will have experience of working with relevant service user group. Good oral and written communication skills, understanding of issues affecting relevant service group, good planning and organisational skills along with commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
You will be able to work flexibly between 8am and 8pm.

The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
