Support Worker - Bournemouth £13.00 per hour 36 hours per week

We're looking for a compassionate Support Worker to help families create safe, nurturing homes where children can thrive. You'll support parents through holistic assessments and evidence-based interventions, all aimed at achieving meaningful, child-centred outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to families in residential settings
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with parents to help them feel safe, included, and empowered
  • Work in partnership with families to promote positive change and strengthen parenting skills
  • Use trauma-informed approaches to help parents understand and meet their children's needs
  • Facilitate open, honest discussions that support transparency and build confidence in decision-making
  • Encourage families to identify and build on their strengths using accessible tools like the 'traffic light system'
  • Support the development of healthy routines, boundaries, and positive behaviours
  • Collaborate with professionals and wider support networks to ensure joined-up care
  • Promote child safety and well-being as central to every intervention
