Job summary

Job Overview

We are looking for a Day Service Caregiver to support individuals with active lifestyles, providing personal care and participation in a variety of activities such as arts, music, swimming and rock climbing.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week with pay of £12.50 per hour (£24,375 per annum).

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to individuals in a caring and respectful manner.
  • Assist participants in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.
  • Support the day service, which opens Monday to Sunday.
  • Work some late nights and occasional weekends as required.
  • Drive an 8‑seat company vehicle to appointments, outside activities and trips.
  • Cooperate with other staff to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A full automatic or manual UK driving licence (8‑seat vehicle).
  • Desirable: Knowledge or qualification in British Sign Language (BSL).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and support the service’s open‑day schedule.
  • Experience in working with disabled or vulnerable adults is an advantage.
