We offer atailored service, providing highly skilled mental health professionals tocomplement clients needs.

As a member of our clinical team, you will be offered a variedcaseload of work, depending on your skills and experience. You will care foryour client on a Live-In or Home Visit basis, where you will have the opportunity to work oneto one in a calm environment that feels secure for them.

Your experience will reflect in your practice as you see the resulting outcomes of your skills and expertise in enabling our clients to use their strengths to improve their own well-being.

What do we need from you?

We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Complex Care Support Workers who have worked with a range of conditions and age groups. If you have experience with supporting children or young adults with ASD and other physical complex care needs, we would like to hear from you.

We have few clients requiring support in the East Grinstead area. This is apart timeposition requiring some additional hours in school holidays. Hours Available are as follows:

  • Term Time, 5 hours per day (Monday to Friday) + 9pm to 9am (Friday - Sunday).
  • School holidays, day and night hours (full time).

You will need to be an experienced support worker who can support our clients to engage in community-based activities, as part of their personal development and progression.

YOU MUST HOLD A UK DRIVING LICENCE AND HAVE ACCESS TO A CAR

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 1 year or more experience as a Complex Care Support Worker
  • Flexibility, maturity, independence, and carry a very high professional standard.
  • Commitment to delivering client specific care.
  • Adaptable approach to support client and family members.
  • Ability to maintain clear professional boundaries within a home setting.

We are looking for high quality, dynamicand experienced Complex Care Support Workers who have experience working with young people/children diagnosed with ASD.

Key accountabilities

You will expectto support on the following.

involvedin an individuals care.

Ensure managementpolicies and protocols and ensure adhered to practice guidance, as they areupdated and respond to national and local guidance.

Ensurethat written records of all aspects of client treatment and progress aremaintained throughout the treatment process.

  • Complete andmaintain all documentation and records as required, including electronicpatient records within 24 hours of event
  • Carry outactivities with clients that enable full access to community life.
  • Work withfamilies/carers to assist them in understanding mental health and copingeffectively with issues arising from their role as carers.
  • Maintain thehighest degree of confidentiality in delivery of treatment packages.
  • Maintaineffective communication with referring agents as appropriate.
  • Maintain ahigh level of professional core psychiatric skills.
  • Maintaineffective clinical links with colleagues, carers and relatives of clientand develop links with community services/resources.
  • Encouragethe use of evidence-based practice.
  • Attend andfully contribute to all team meetings.
  • To reportassessment findings in the appropriate format to the people who needthem
  • To ensureconfidentiality and security of patient data is always maintained incompliance with the Data Protection Act.
  • To ensureconfidentiality of staff, patients and carers is maintained in line withClaimont policy.
  • To attendappropriate mandatory training courses in line with requirements of therole, Health and Safety Regulations and as part of personal development,e.g., systems training, fire awareness training, appraisals.

To carryout any other duties as requested by the Registered Manager to ensure thequality of service provided by the team.

Toactively participate in a performance review and the development andimplementation of a personal development plan.

  • To takeresponsibility for their own professional development ensuringprofessional standards are maintained and statutory and mandatorytraining is in date.
  • To attendany training as requested.
  • To adhere tothe Professional Code of Conduct relating to your profession (ifapplicable).
  • To upholdthe principles and values set out in the Claimont Contractors Manual.
  • To ensurethat the health and wellbeing of patients is at the centre of allactivities and that all staff engage and communicate with patients asappropriate.
  • To alwayspromote quality and safety of patients, visitors and staff thus enablingClaimont to meet its regulation requirements (Care Quality CommissionRegistration Regulations and Outcomes) that relate most directly topatients and strive for continuous quality improvement.
