Must hold a full UK manual driving licence. We are seeking positive and caring individuals to support our children in our residential homes where we promote a family‑feel environment.
Responsibilities
- Support our children in all aspects of their daily lives.
- Help them develop and maintain positive relationships with friends and family.
- Encourage social activity by attending events to boost confidence and independence.
- Build strong relationships to create meaningful impact.
- Safeguard our children: monitor and report any suspicion or evidence of harm, ensuring care plans are followed and updated.
- Undertake basic housekeeping duties when children are not in the home.
Other duties may include watching a movie, reading, crafts, day trips, games console time, walks, and any other fun activities you propose to enrich their experience.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role or personal experience supporting a friend or family member.
- Preference for individuals who are driven to put others first and feel a sense of pride in their day.
- Children’s Residential Level 3 qualification desirable (no essential).
- Flexible to work day shifts (8 am–10 pm) and sleep‑ins (10 pm–7 am) with occasional weekend duties.
Working Hours & Salary
- Hourly rate: £12.36–£12.78 (depends on qualifications).
- £78.30 for each sleep‑in; part‑time staff may earn up to four per month, totaling over £3,750 a year.
- Shift rotation means fewer workdays per week, giving more days off.
