A children's support organization in Widnes is seeking an experienced Support Worker to care for energetic young children. The role requires great communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships. Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and should be flexible regarding shifts and sleep-ins. This position is rewarding and provides opportunities for professional training and career advancement.
Job Role: Support Worker / Children's Residential Home.
Location: Widnes
Salary: £12.60 per hour PLUS additional: £62.64 per sleep‑in (working approx. 4–8 sleep‑ins per month, an additional £3,000–£6,000 P/A)
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.
We are looking for a children's support worker to become part of our family home, caring for younger children who are very active and energetic. You would be the person to give encouragement and praise when needed, to be patient and understanding during times of crisis and to inspire them to grow and develop.
The role can be physically demanding and you will need lots of energy to keep up but you could be the person to change a life for the better.
