A highly regarded young people and adult education centre local to you is looking for an empathetic, passionate and kind Youth and adult Support worker to support and young adults with severe and profound SEN needs. The setting offers incredible resources including an on‑site gym, on‑site cafe, art studio and various workshops. The setting supports young adults from 18+ years. Whatever a student's abilities or challenges, the setting aims to provide them with memorable experiences and stimulating activities that promote self‑esteem and personal independence. The setting are commended by parents, pupils, staff and OFSTED and have recently been graded GOOD with elements of outstanding. Applicants for this role must be available 9-5, Monday‑Friday all year round.

  • Permanent youth support worker role
  • Team Teach training provided by Randstad Education or the school

Responsibilities
  • Supporting young adults with SEN needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Providing exceptional high levels of care during all daily activities such as washing, dressing, socialising, learning etc
