I am 47 years old and live independently in my own home in Cardigan. I have an acquired brain injury, and I am a wheelchair user. I have an established team of carers who support me with my daily life and with accessing the community. I enjoy getting out and about and like being driven to different places of interest. My main hobbies are fishing, photography and gardening, and I value being supported to continue with the things that matter to me.

I am looking for people who are calm, patient, reliable and consistent. I appreciate staff who take the time to get to know me, have a good sense of humour, and can encourage and motivate me without putting pressure on me. It is important that I am involved in decisions, that my choices are respected, and that I am supported to maintain as much independence as possible.

You will be joining my established care team and working alongside the professionals involved in my rehabilitation, including my Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Neuropsychologist. I am looking for someone who can become a positive, consistent part of my team and support me to enjoy my interests and maintain a good quality of life.

Assistance with personal care will be required as part of the role. This role is subject to and enhanced level DBS check. Full induction and training will be provided.
