Job description

Location: Blythe Bridge, Staffordshire ST11 9LR

Shifts: Full time, 42 hour contract (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay Rate: £12.21 - £12.47 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Role Overview
  • Support adults with various needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health.
  • Empower people to flourish in a place they call home, be ambitious and live fulfilled lives.
  • Provide high‑quality, tailored support.
  • Facilitate activities (cooking, art, music, movie nights, food outings).
  • Offer personal care: continence support, health and medication needs, handling personal possessions, finances and documents, shopping; help maintain personal and environmental hygiene.
  • Follow procedures to deliver consistent, safe, reliable care and support.
Key Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Good general education.
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
  • Commitment to the aims and objectives of the home and Ivolve.
  • Satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
  • Commitment to undertake training and development.

Desirable

  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care.
  • Previous experience within a social care setting.
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
  • Confident IT user.
