Job description

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Bank Support Worker. Here at Redwood House in Broadstone, Poole, we provide a supported living service for young adults aged 18 to 35. The people we support have learning disabilities, ASD, and other health needs.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Promoting and supporting independent living skills.
  • Encouraging choice and involvement.
  • Facilitating access to community activities.
  • Supporting with a small amount of personal care.
  • Will predominantly involve evenings and weekends. Evening shifts would be from 4 pm to 10 pm, and weekends would be a combination of either long days (8 am to 10 pm) or an early or late which would be 8 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm.
  • Bank holiday working will also be required.
