A supportive care organization in Sunderland is seeking a Full-Time Support Worker/Carer to provide emotional and practical support to individuals with various needs. The role requires compassion, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. We are looking for Support Workers/Carers who care about making every moment matter for the people we support within our service based in Hull.
Whilst fully embracing the company ethos support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live.
Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Experience of challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities is preferred but all training will be provided.

We offer high quality training in autism awareness, epilepsy, medication, and person-centred training for those who require it.
This includes bespoke communication training such as Makaton and health promotion.
