Job summary

CareTech is a nationwide care provider based in Harrogate, seeking a Bank Support Worker to assist adults with mental health needs. The role involves person-centred care, promoting independence, and delivering compassionate support across shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Successful candidates will undergo enhanced DBS disclosure funded by the employer, with terms set after a six-month probationary period.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caring environment (essential)
• Experience of working with adults with autism (essential)
• Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities (essential)
• Able to work unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays
• Excellent communication skills enabling engagement with service users
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
