A caring organization in the UK is seeking a female Personal Assistant to support an inspiring individual named Eve. The role involves providing personal care, managing household tasks, and driving for travel. The ideal candidate will be positive, patient, and enjoy a varied schedule. Full training is provided, making this a fulfilling opportunity for the right person.
Eve is inspirational, driven, and has an excellent sense of humour. A retired Paralympian, she recently completed a Research Master's in Social Policy and is actively involved with multiple charitable organisations. She is a public speaker and workshop presenter specialising in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and life with a physical disability. Her interests include travelling, fitness, socialising and hosting. Life is busy and varied, and no two days are the same. Eve is supported by a team of five PAs, and there is now an opportunity for a new team member to join.
Eve is a wheelchair user and communicates using AAC. As her PA, you will provide 1:1 and occasionally 2:1 support across all areas of her personal, social and professional life. Responsibilities include:
Shifts include sleep-in nights (paid as additional overtime). Rotas are issued 4-6 weeks in advance and include some weekends. Full details are provided at the application stage.
A fun, intuitive, positive and patient female PA who enjoys travel (sometimes up to three weeks at a time), good food, and a varied schedule. You'll know when to step forward and when to step back, and ideally share some of Eve's interests. Personality fit is essential; full training is provided.
