A leading provider of supported housing in the UK is seeking an Independent Living Skills Coach to help young individuals develop essential life skills. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with young people, creating personalized journeys towards independent living. The ideal candidate will possess strong coaching skills, empathy for vulnerable individuals, and the ability to inspire and support. The role offers flexible hours at 15 or 22.5 per week, contributing to meaningful change in their lives.
Imagine this… A young person has just moved into West Farm after months of instability. They're unsure, maybe guarded, but you start by cooking a simple meal together. Over time, you help them learn to budget, manage a tenancy, and rebuild confidence. You're not just teaching skills, you're helping someone believe they can thrive independently, while knowing they've got someone they can trust walking alongside them.
As an Independent Living Skills Coach, you'll walk alongside them, helping them cook a meal, budget for bills, apply for college, or simply believe in themselves again.
We have two vacancies offering 15 hours and 22.5 hours.

Our aim is to work with individuals to build on their strengths, creating person centred, individualized strategies and plans that transform lives, support recovery and enable positive behaviour. In order to succeed, however, we need the right people in place. Our workforce is one of our greatest assets, but only by recruiting the very best can we continue to deliver comprehensive, good quality housing services, support and resettlement.
