Overview

We have a gent 20s who we're supporting who very much enjoys his own space and spending time with family. He has a learning disability, autism and we're looking for highly motivated support workers to assist him to live independently as he transition into moving into his own home. You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.

Responsibilities

What will I be doing? You will be supporting him to live their live how he choose and to achieve his goals. With the gent\'s autism, activities have to have a clear middle objective and an end one. As well as supporting him to get involved in all the activities he enjoys, you\'ll also be providing support with his personal care, medication, food shopping, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

Shifts and Scheduling

Day Shifts: 7am-10pm. Waking Night Shifts: 10pm-7am. This includes a combination of weekdays and weekends. Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we\'re very passionate about!
