Job description

Alcedo Care is actively looking for Support Workers and HCAs with a passion for delivering outstanding care, preferably with NVQ/Diploma L3 CYP or equivalent.

We offer excellent rates of pay, ranging from £14.00 to £14.50 per hour, with weekly pay, holidays, and pension. This equates to a rolled-up hourly rate of £16.16 - £16.74.

Location of work: Warrington, Halton, and Northwich

Shift Patterns: Variable block shifts between 3-7 hours, including some weekend work

We work with adults and children with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behavioral needs in the community. We are passionate about our work and helping clients achieve positive outcomes.

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-level care and support to vulnerable individuals, enabling them to live the life they choose.

Ideally, you will have experience working within mental health and/or learning disabilities and be willing to undertake full training in supporting and caring for this client group.

Your duties may include medication assistance, attending appointments, motivating, and encouraging independence, engagement, and participation.

You will receive full training and additional skills to promote and aid client recovery, supported by our RMNs as part of our multi-professional team.

This role can be challenging at times; therefore, a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required, as you will be supporting service users in the community.
