Job summary

Creative Support are looking for a kind, patient and caring Support Worker to join our team in New Waltham, Grimsby. You will support adults with learning disabilities in their daily lives and help them engage in activities both at home and in the community.

Full training is provided, with an opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. We welcome applicants with no prior care experience and offer full- and part-time roles, including weekend work and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required.
• Full training provided with possible qualification towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and related needs.
• Encouraging service users to engage in social activities inside and outside their homes.
• Developing warm, trusting relationships with service users and their families.
• Administrating and monitoring prescribed medication to service users.

Are you a kind, patient and caring individual looking to make a positive impact within your career? Creative Support are looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in New Waltham, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. You will support adults with learning disabilities with their daily lives.

Support Worker Duties

• Providing excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and non-verbal communication requirements.
• Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes
• Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest
• Administrating and monitoring prescribed medication to service users.

No previous care experience is needed. We offer full and part time hours, weekend work and bank holidays. The service has great public transport links.
