Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Support Worker or similar healthcare role is preferred.
  • Valid UK Driver's License.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • Support young people with learning difficulties and complex healthcare needs.
  • Implement therapeutic and positive behaviour support approaches.
  • Assist in non-verbal communication support.

  • Oliver McGowan Training
  • Safeguarding Children
  • Medication Awareness
  • Ability to support non-verbal communication (e.g., Makaton or PECS)
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
